MONTHLY READER POLL
New poll! It's easy to name BP as the most blameworthy in the oil spill disaster. Who should rank second?
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, who is reponsible for overseeing the U.S. Minerals Management Service (see below).
U.S. Minerals Management Service, which is responsible for overseeing offshore drilling.
President Obama, who is responsible for overseeing everything.
The rest of us, who are responsible for the U.S. being the highest oil-consuming country in the world.

Welcome to lawhaha.com!

You may be wondering ...

What exactly is lawhaha.com? At its most basic level, it's the only combination of letters in the alphabet that was not already registered as an Internet domain name in 2001.

But, of course, it's grown to be much more than that. Lawhaha is an interactive humor network for legal types of all stripes: law students, lawyers, law profs, judges, legal secretaries, prison inmates, recidivist parking meter violators, anyone with a computer, basically.

Lawhaha.com needs your help! Lawhaha.com is just a small sideline. It's non-commercial (except for trying to peddle a few books) and depends entirely on reader contributions.
Almost all of the Strange Judicial Opinions, Weird Legal News and Funniest Law School Moments were contributed by loyal lawhaha.com visitors like yourself.

Here's the free stuff lawhaha.com has to offer: Please, Please, Please. In the immortal words of the hardest working man in show business — James Brown — Please, Please, Please send in your Funniest Law School Moments, any Weird Legal News you run across, questions for the Monthly Reader Poll and anything else that might proximately cause comic relief for lawyers and law students. We owe it to each other.

Feedback is always welcome at lawhaha.com, where our motto is: "Let's build a great legal humor network that's great, legal, humorous and doesn't depend on cheap lawyer jokes."
